Lockdown 2 - Covid’s Revenge

Here we are again in lockdown. It’s not easy on any of us, but we know what to expect now and hopefully you’ve all managed to get yourselves prepared for whatever restrictions you’re currently facing.

Of course, we’re in Rhondda Cynon Taff in South Wales, so we’ve been in a local lockdown for the last 5 weeks and are just entering the national lockdown with the rest of Wales.

It would be a lie to say that we haven’t been adversely affected this past month; many regular (and new) customers haven’t been able to travel to us, so our footfall has been very low. But our new website is proving to be more popular than ever, and not just with customers in our locality. In the 2 weeks the new site has been live, we’ve had orders from the length and breadth of the UK and beyond. It has proven itself to be a good, solid and intuitive platform as we enter a period of time whereby we’ll be 100% reliant on it.

That said, A Strings is functional and operating online and by phone throughout lockdown. If you call, email, message us via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram it’ll be Tom, Adam or myself responding. You’ll be hearing/seeing plenty of us on the social media channels over the coming weeks and we have a spooky halloween quiz scheduled for Friday 30th October on Facebook.
