Sam Williams - Bass (Pontypridd + Online)
I am a professional bassist from Merthyr Tydfil and I’ve had the pleasure of playing all around the world. I’ve been playing for 16 years and gigging for at least 15 of those years. I have a PGCE (Masters) in Education and I have been teaching bass for around 10 years.
My background is in rock, pop, funk and soul music but I’ve had experience in most styles of bass. I have extensive experience in covers and tribute bands but now focus mainly on original music. My lessons aim to help build your bass-vocabulary and to give you the tools to create inventive bass lines in a variety of contexts. A big part of my tuition is the coaching element where I’m able to advise and help you through individual problems in real time; from helping with technique to ensuring you get the best gear that works for you. I want to help you take your bass playing to the next level!
