The Orange Micro Dark MD20H is a pint-sized 20-watt valve hybrid guitar amp head built for serious gain. A 12AX7-driven high-gain preamp feeds a solid-state power amp, so you get big, aggressive Orange tone from a head small enough to fit in a gig bag pocket.
Key features
- High-gain valve preamp: far more gain than the original Micro Terror, yet it cleans up when you roll back your guitar's volume.
- Shape control: one knob sweeps the mids against the bass and treble, from warm and mid-forward to deep and scooped.
- Buffered effects loop: keeps your time-based effects clear and your signal strong.
- CabSim headphone/line out: practise silently or record direct into an audio interface with a cab-simulated tone.
- Flexible speaker output: 20 watts into any 8 to 16 ohm cabinet.
- Tough black chassis: high tensile steel in a matte black finish.
Pair it with the Orange PPC108 1x8 cabinet for a compact practice rig, or plug into a full-size 4x12 for a proper stack.
