In this blog we'll take a look at our A Strings favourites from entry level Squier all the way to Fender Custom Shop, and have our friend Ryan Haberfield take us through the quintessential sounds of the iconic guitar. Let's get started!

Classic Vibe 50's Stratocaster

Taking the best of the vintage era, the Squier Classic Vibe offers 50's, 60's & 70's models with their own selections of colours. In this video we put the Classic Vibe up against a Custom Shop just to show how good these are for the money!

Fender Player & Player Plus

The Fender Player (and Player Plus) series are the first of the Fender branded models and are hot on the heels of the American equivalents. The Player series has all of the Stratocaster appointments you would expect, with the Player Plus adding noiseless pickups, locking tuners and custom finishes to the mix.  If you are looking for a workhorse instrument that won't cost you the world then check out the Player and Player Plus!

Fender American Pro II

The flagship of the Fender range. American made Professional II's are beautifully finished and crafted in the Corona factory, California. If you want THE Fender Stratocaster then this is the series for you. Our video below checks out the improvements and differences between the Pro I and Pro II.

Custom Shop

To relic or not to relic? The Fender Custom Shop range is considered the top of the companies tree. With Holy Grail models, Artist signatures and heavy relic rock machines, if you want something for life then Custom Shop is the answer!

Still confused? Don't worry! We are always here to help you choose what Strat is right for you and if you can't get to us our Youtube Channel has plenty of comparisons, VS videos and product spotlights to help you get a better idea of what Fender and Squier have to offer.
