Product Spotlight: Xvive U2 Wireless System
If you are a guitarist or bassist who plays live, has a studio recording setup or simply rocks out at home, you'll already know the pain of tangled and crackly cables!
When we were introduced to Xvive through Thomas Blug we were curious to see how well the U2 Wireless System would perform and whether something at the 'budget' end of the market could replicate an authentic wired tone and give us the range and flexibility needed from a wireless pack.
This wireless system operates at 2.4GHz ISM band for crystal clear broadcasting ensuring the integrity of your signal on stage and covers 70 feet of range without any signal dropout. The Li-ion batteries help makes the U2 wireless system environmentally friendly that can last up to 5 hours per charge. The chassis is made out of a durable ABS plastic that can withstand the rigors of touring and the harshest of climates.
Below is our Youtube video where we tested a cable tone comparison and range of the system, taking it for a tour of Broadway!
Since filming the video I now perform live with two guitarists both using the U2's (as well as a bass player on wireless, IEM systems and a wireless mic!) and have zero issues with latency and interference.
If you're in the market for a reliable, great-sounding wireless then you have to try the U2 from Xvive! I am a fan.
