The Blackstar instrument cable difference
High quality shielded braiding: Braided shielding has better shielding properties, is far more durable and more expensive than spiral shielding. Braided shielding also has better electrical insulation. Most cables from low to mid-level only have the less effective spiral shielding.
Quality and flexibility: Cables with high braided shielding coverage, and thick Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) core conductors can be more bulky and less flexible. We have modified the internal construction of our cables to retain softness and flexibility even with braided shielding.
Great Durability: Standard and Pro Series instrument cables have plastic housing and heat- shrink-tubes around the solder connections for good handling protection and durability.
Free cable tie: Each cable comes packaged with a free Velcro cable tie.
