Epiphone Viola Bass Guitar, Vintage Sunburst

The Epiphone Viola Bass Guitar is powered by a pair of NYT/NYR pickups that are located at the neck and bridge. The NYT/NYR pickups are able to achieve bright and clear tones with excellent focus for a vintage performance. The pickups accentuate and enhance the bass' natural projection, making it an ideal choice for performing bassists. The controls on-board the Viola Bass include a Volume knob for each pickup and a Master Tone. The controls are finished in classy gold, and they are sat on a labelled Pearloid plate to add to the retro appearance.

Crafted With Maple Body

With a maple body, the Viola Bass delivers plenty of bright and tight tonal characteristics. Maple as a body tonewood provides excellent levels of sustain, and it also holds a strong, upper midrange with good bite. Overall, the maple body infuses the Viola's sound with punchy highs, and exceptional amounts of clarity.

Maple Neck & Pau Ferro Fingerboard

The Viola Bass provides smooth, fast play and the maple neck produces a tight and warm tone as well as snappy attack with sizzling highs. The neck is paired with a Pau Ferro fingerboard that helps to keep the tone mellow and offers some sparkle to the highs whilst thickening up the lows.
