Handcrafted in extremely small numbers, the Limited-Edition Faith PJE Legacy FG7 Earth offers players the opportunity to experience something genuinely exceptional. The latest guitar to be granted access to Patrick James Eggle’s sought-after ‘Earth’ body shape, the FG7 pairs a Solid Torrefied Sitka Spruce top with Solid American Claro Walnut back and sides for a striking and tonally sophisticated combination. The compelling burst colouration of the top uses rich reds and burnt oranges melting into warm yellows – bringing to life the natural grain structure of its torrefied spruce.

Each top has undergone a meticulous roasting, or torrefaction, process: the spruce is air-dried, then carefully heated in a controlled, oxygen-reduced environment to remove excess moisture before being reconditioned. The result is a top that is more stable, responsive, and sonically mature – producing a voice with enhanced projection, rich overtones, and the played-in character of a well-loved instrument decades its senior.

Tonally positioned between mahogany and rosewood, American Claro Walnut delivers clarity and balance with a refined edge. The low end is controlled and articulate, the midrange is focused, and the trebles ensure a radiant vocal quality. When paired with the torrefied spruce top, the FG7 delivers exceptional note definition and generous dynamic headroom.

The FG7 also features a solid high-figure Flamed Maple binding, a solid Figured Ebony pickguard, fingerboard and bridge with a bone nut, saddle and bridge pins.

Stage work is handled by Fishman’s latest ‘Flex-T-Blend’ pickup and preamp system.
This excellent pickup system allows you to blend the crispness of a piezo undersaddle pickup with the more characterful tones of an internal condensor mic... and with near-flush fitted controls positioned discreetly on the upper bout side, there is nothing to take away from each guitar’s beautiful contour.

Based on Patrick James Eggle’s ‘Linville’ model, the Earth is a true Orchestra Model (OM) shape. While it shares several geometric characteristics with the highly acclaimed Venus, the Earth possesses a distinct tonal voice and form, drawn entirely by Patrick’s own hand. With a 15” lower bout and a body depth of 4.45”, it offers a perfectly balanced mid-size profile for exceptional comfort and tonal focus..
